Phone Finder for Alexa 2.6.1

This application requires an Amazon Alexa device along with the "Phone Finder" Skill.

If you have trouble locating any of your Android devices, maybe because it's on silent mode, Alexa can assist you by making the device ring at full volume and vibrate.

To get started, you need to link this app with the Alexa Skill "Phone Finder". The process is simple:

1. Install the Skill on your Alexa device by saying "Alexa, activate Phone Finder" or use the Alexa App.
2. Open the skill by saying "Alexa, open Phone Finder" and proceed to add a new device.
3. Alexa will provide you with a personal PIN code.
4. Enter the PIN code in the Android App.
5. Your status will change to "Active". The setup is complete!

If desired, you can customize an alarm tone. From then on, any of your Alexa devices (within the same user account) can be instructed to locate your Android device. If the device is online, it will immediately ring loudly and vibrate.

Follow these steps for each additional device you wish to include. You can connect up to two devices, ensuring that your phones, tablets, and smartwatches are always securely accounted for.

Below are some examples of commands for using the Alexa Skill:

• Search for a device by device number:
  "Alexa, open Phone Finder and find two"
  "Alexa, ask Phone Finder to find device one"
• Search for a device (if multiple devices are connected):
  "Alexa, open Phone Finder and find my phone"
  "Alexa, ask Phone Finder to find my device"

To add a new device:

• "Alexa, start Phone Finder and add a new device"
  "Alexa, open Phone Finder and connect my phone"

To remove an existing device:

• "Alexa, start Phone Finder and remove my phone"
  "Alexa, start Phone Finder and disconnect my tablet"

To request the PIN code:

• "Alexa, ask Phone Finder for my code"
  "Alexa, open Phone Finder and give me my PIN"
